1. Are you able to sign an NDA before we transfer the CAD data to you?
We guarantee the security and confidentiality of your design and content. If needed, we can sign an NDA for added assurance. You are welcome to send your company’s NDA directly to us at info@jypretech.com, and we will sign it and return it to you promptly.
2. How can I get a quote?
There are two ways to get a quote:
(1) Upload the drawing and details of the project on our Get a Quote page.
(2) Send the drawing and details of the project directly to this email: info@jypretech.com
3. How long does a quotation take?
Generally, we provide an accurate quotation within 24 hours of receiving your inquiry. If there is any delay due to other factors, we will inform you in advance.
4. What information does the inquiry need to provide?
To provide you with an accurate quotation, the following information is essential for our analysis:
a. 2D/3D files.
b. Quantity of parts.
c. Material and color specifications.
d. Surface finish requirements.
e. Tooling life or annual usage expectations.
f. Lead time.

Once we receive this complete information, we will review it and provide a quote as soon as possible.
5. What types of file formats does JY Pretech support for quoting?
3D files in STEP or IGS format is prefect for us .
2D drawings should be in PDF format and include all necessary dimensional information relevant to the parts.
Please note that if only a 2D drawing is provided, we can only offer a rough quotation. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
6. What's your minimum order quantity?
We have no minimum order quantity, and we can provide a quote based on your required batch size.
7. Can JY Pretech help create 3D CAD for customers?
Currently, we do not offer product design services. Customers are responsible for submitting the 3D file, and we will provide a DFM report upon receiving an order.
However, if you have a physical sample, we can provide 3D scanning services to create the 3D file if needed, and we will provide a quote accordingly.
8. How fast can I take my parts?
The lead time depends on the structural complexity, size, and special features of the parts.  
For standard parts, production can be completed within 1-2 weeks with high quality.  
For complex parts or those with special features, it may take longer.  
Once the quality inspection of the first mold trial samples is complete, shipping from China to America or Europe typically takes only 2-3 days (by express, like DHL/UPS/FedEx).
9. Are the lead times in working days or calendar days?
The lead times are quoted in calendar days. That is calculate from approval of the DFM and the beginning of the actual production.
This timeline does not include public holidays, such as Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and May Day.  
Our engineers will inform you of any holiday impacts during the quoting or project management stages.
10. What are the shipping terms of JY Pretech?
Our standard terms are Ex Works (EXW), meaning the customer is responsible for shipping, customs clearance, and all associated fees once the goods leave our premises. 
If necessary, we will adjust the shipping terms based on the specific order.
11. Does JY Pretech provide first article inspection ( FAI ) report?
Yes, all parts will be inspected during production and before shipment by our quality control department. We will provide an FAI report for each part.  
If needed, we can also provide material certificates, COC, metal composition test reports, hardness reports, color inspection reports, and more. Finally, we will provide the final inspection reports to the customer.
12. What are the payment terms of JY Pretech?
(1) Typically, all tooling orders require a 50% deposit in advance, with the balance due before the T1 sample is shipped.  
()2 Protype samples (like CNC machined parts) require 100% payment before shipment.  
(3) Unless otherwise agreed, the amount due shall be paid via bank transfer to the account designated by JY Pretech.
13. How can I pay JY Pretech?
